Due to the COVID-19 outbreak we are no longer pre-booking appointments until further notice. Your call will be placed on a telephone call back list and a GP will phone you to assess whether a face to face consultation is necessary. It is practice policy for our trained reception staff to ask for brief details about the nature of your call. This is so we can direct you to the most appropriate person to deal with your request. All the information is treated in the strictest confidence.

It is always difficult to meet the needs and wishes for all our patients when looking at our appointment system but we are always looking to improve our access to appointments and through patient feedback we have adapted our system to enable patients to book appointments suitable to need.
We can deal with many things over the telephone including medication reviews, sick notes and other admin tasks, and results, you will be asked for a contact number and the GP or nurse will call you back. Reception can advise if you are unsure whether this is the best option for you.
If your problem is truly urgent you will be offered a GP telephone triage appointment, the receptionist will ask for a brief description of the problem in order to assess the urgency and a GP will then call you back the same day. If you then require an appointment this will be made for you, it may not be possible to see the Doctor of your choice.
If you require urgent medical assistance which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens, please call 111.
